Youngest-Ever WSOP Winner Crowned

November 11, 2009 (PAP Newswire) -- Joe Cada, a 21-year-old poker player from Michigan, was crowned the newest World Series of Poker champ yesterday, raking in over $8 million in the process.

In 40 years of the WSOP, no other final table champ has been so young. Cada won by beating out Darvin Moon in a direct heads up match.

“Darvin played a great game,” Cada told the UK Mirror. “He put me in a lot of tough spots. He did really well. Props to Darvin. He played great. He had my back against the wall, but luckily I came through.”
