What’s the deal with Futurebet? They must be the best salesmen online.

So I have seen some pretty bad press coming out of the ex-operators of Futurebet brands I cannot help but wonder this; “how are these dudes still selling white labels/skins/sites to people?” Seriously, when you are thinking of opening a new online gaming skin can you really come to the conclusion that FB is the best way to go? Obviously some to-be-broke entrepreneurs are still paying out to have a new FB product.

I have heard through the grapevine that the company is changing names and launching new software to help aid the bad press they have received recently. (And by recently I mean the past 4 years) One of the larger sites on the network, Linesmaker.co.uk closed their doors and took their site offline due to numerous problems. Their poker network (Digital Gaming Network), which lost flagship site FullContactPoker.com, has really been under stress lately with stats and updates being completely messed up. Other sites closing shop with FutureBet are: BetandWinNet, FunPlexCasino, and Bignutzz.

You know Bryan Bailey from Casinomeister loves them right? Link.

The official statement coming from Linesmaker was, “the gaming platform provider for this website is claiming insolvency and is no longer able to provide services.” More of this drama I am sure will be coming soon. I had a brief stint with the Digital gaming Network and the software actually isn’t too bad. The major problems were the lack of good deposit methods and the absolute wasteland of player volume needed to keep the games moving and earning the site rake.

Without rake, where would we be?
