Preface: Pubcon Vegas 2007 – there is more to come.

I have to pause and reflect on what just happened at Pubcon 2007 in Las Vegas. Honestly the show itself was pretty low key but of course the mix of industry professionals (that word is often argued) and Las Vegas nightlife can lead to one of two things. One is an insurmountable task of drinking $425 bottles of Grey Goose Vodka and another is not for this blog.

ChanPoker.com is a good program to work with. If you are a poker affiliate and you are going to work with a site on the bwin network other than bwin.org themselves then I would strongly suggest these guys. The main reason for my endorsement is this: they care about making affiliates a vital part of their business.

The affiliate manager at Chan, Brandon Berndt, is both a friend and a class act. After speaking today with Brandon on how he is personally looking after his affiliates players and keeping them happy and comped at NO Charge to the affiliates. Their new tournaments and branding via Johnny himself are great for player acquisition.

My guess is that there were more than one $425 bottle drank. I have to chime in here as well and give my recommendation about the ChanPoker program. Brandon is a class act and has been the most responsive AM’s we have on our network.
