• Play begins in NFL Week 1.
• Regular season lasts through NFL Week 12.
• Post season begins in NFL Week 13.
• Post season lasts through NFL Week 16.

PLAYOFFS

Division winners and 9 wildcards (based on overall records) make the playoffs for a total of 12 playoff teams. If there is a tie, PLAYOFF SEEDING tiebreakers will apply (head-head, then total points).

Division winners plus top wildcard (super-wildcard) receive a bye during week 13. Super-wildcard will be seeded #4. Division winners will be seeded #1, #2, #3 permanently regardless of wildcard team records.

8 remiaining wildcards play-off week 13 and are seeded #5-12 (5 plays 12, 6, plays 11, 7 plays 10, 8 plays 9).

For week 14 quarterfinals, top seed plays lowest seed, second seed plays second lowest seed, etc...

Top 4 seeds remaining battle it out week 15 in SemiFinals.

Week 16 = Championship game and runner up game to decide 3rd.

NOTE: Tiebreaking for PLAYOFF SEEDING will be as follows:
1. Overall record.
2. Head-head games played.
3. Total points.


SCHEDULE

Every team plays 2 games per week, with the exception of weeks 3 and 10 (1 game per week).
Each team will play their own division teams twice and other division teams once.
Each team will play a total of 22 games.


Special Rules

• One team represents both defensive and special teams units.
• Standings Tie Breakers:
  1. Head-To-Head Competition
     (against all tied teams)
  2. Total Points Standings
     (points scored in all weeks counted one time per week)
  3. Total Points Scored in Games
     (double headers count twice, bye weeks do not count)

Free Agent Transactions

• Waiver wire only in Week 2 through Playoff Week 4.
• Owners may acquire up to 2 players per waiver wire.
• Deadlines for waiver wire picks, beginning in Week 2: Wednesdays at 11:59 pm

Trades

• Open trading is permitted, but final commissioner approval is required.
• No trading after Week 8.

Live Draft Rules

• Draft begins August, 28, 2008 9:00 PM ET
• S-style draft (1-N, N-1, 1-N, etc.)
• 12 rounds.
• Each owner has 2 minutes to make a selection.
• If skipped, owners must wait until next successful pick to fill selection

If we reach 30 - the pool may take 4-5 hours! But...you can PRE-RANK players and it will autodraft for you...plus, I can tweak some things (like less total players) to shorten things...so no worries.

BTW...I named Jeremy's team the Pink Bunnies...let's see if he has time to change it!
