It's a pain in the ass to manage but I did a promotion a few months ago with a room that allows you to do $5 or $10 inter account transfers. I simply challenged my prospects to a contest to see who could build $5 into the largest bankroll. The key was to start at the micro-tables and go up.
Of course most people busted, but the key was that it brought in tons of new sign-ups and gave people a taste of real money play.
