My thoughts on the situation are very similar. Yes, I am the voice of ChanPoker, however 90% of members here do not know me as such. They know me as Brandon, from the Partyriches days. So I see both sides of the situation.
I do 100% agree that this is getting out of hand. I also thing some AM's don't realize that posts like this are not helping, they are hurting. As an affiliate, if the first time I heard about your program was reading a spammy post on PAP, I would be turned away from it immediately.
I was very lucky to make the transition from an affiliate to an AM at the time when Mark and Greg (when at Celeb/pokerheaven) were around to watch. Never would you see them spam their affiliate program, or even bring it up unless it fit the criteria of the thread. They would constantly help affiliates out anyway they could, regardless if they were working with their affiliate programs or not. I think newer Am's should read through their old posts and follow suit.
