I have never been an A.M., however I have several very good friends who are. And at the end of the day I can tell you it comes down to relationships. There are several A.M.'s here at PAP who have formed great relationships with the community as a whole and many of the individuals here. These are the ones that no one gets annoyed by.

After all, creating relationships and recruiting affiliates is their job. I actually appreciate an email or PM from one of the AM's whom I already work with and trust every now and again.

The best analogy I can think of is my email lists. If I emailed out a bunch of strangers a great poker offer, it would be spam and people would be annoyed. However if I emailed out my list of people who know and trust me, I would probably get thank-you replies.

Relationships and trust are everything in business, and the poker affiliate business is no exception.
