Selling affiliate accounts? Keeping them.. what are they worth etc.. I am not buying any sites, but those are some things you're likely to encounter

Where do your visitors come from?

Where does your site rank in the search engines?

Where do you get your traffic from?

Where would the banners be placed on the site?

How many players do you send to the poker rooms you promote on that site per month?

What is the site?

Kind Regards,

Mark

i started this site about a year ago with the purpose of finding the best mtt player on fulltilt.. it has sort of turned into more than that now ... its not exactly a pretty site ... but the information is free and that is what people come for. its a little different than other sites in that it freely publishes all the results not just someones wins... . at any rate its http://www.bigstack.com

I hear you. This goes back to some of my earlier post about market saturation. Depending on how much you want to beat your head against the wall to promote aff programs to NEW sign ups or simply build a 1 - 5 page content site and optimize it to sell ads, PPC, etc.... Depending on the type of program you run ask what is best for you now to profit. Targeted traffic is the key to this. Most of your inquires will want to know your stats.

i run google analytics... i think that most people can look them up on that ... and i just installed quantcast(which are ranking me lower than i should be at the moment due to they have a half days worth of data since i installed and i had a temporary outage to fix some issues) with all that they still say i will have 10k+ uniques.

i also have awstats... but giving people access to that is a little trickier...

There is always a cart before the horse problem here. Selling advertising is a good plan, but if you have no idea how many visitors (not players, visitors) you'll send a cardroom, you really have no clue.

Format the site however you want
put banners and text links where you want them (it doesn't even matter if you have a deal with a cardroom or other site, just add banners)
track the clicks for a month (a week even)
make a sale valuing a click somewhere between $1 and $10

You really can't sell anything unless you have an idea of the value of what you are selling.

Don't be impatient. Find the value of what you are offering, then start making a deal.
