Ive also been under the impression that casino affiliates may be making more per player, but I have a hard time seeing how to write content for such a site. For poker you can write strategy posts on an incredible amount of topics, but its kinda limited with casinos, slots, blackjack, etc. Anyone have any tips to share on this?

For one, you should check out other casino affiliate sites and see what they write about. Obviously do not copy, but you can get some good ideas.

There are plenty of things to write about for slots, blackjack, etc. There are always news items, strategy, new games, jackpots, new bonuses, winners, new tournaments, etc. There is plenty to write about.

Also, do not underestimate the power of gambling forums. Hang out there for a while and see what players are talking about. That will give you enough writing to do for the rest of your life.

I like rewards affiliates , They offer several casinos and media and pay early every month. I have had good success with them

Most programs will have content for you to use but of course it helps if you can edit the content to make it unique.

I find it is easier to write your own casino content compared to poker content where poker can cover so many areas whereas with casinos you are fairly limited but most people are typically searching for the same thing: bonuses, slots, blackjack, no deposit bonuses, progressive jackpots, etc... Casino and game reviews tend to do well and all you need to do is try the casino for free, play the games, take a few screenshots and you can simply write about your experience. I have game reviews, casino reviews, slots data and all the screenshots for thisisvegas (Rival) if anybody wants them

I'd still like to know what the main differences are that affiliates find between promoting poker and casino. I'm assuming you can't write as much content on things like strategy, so what do you use to fill its place?

Do you visibly promote your poker sites in a very different way to your casino sites?

I'd say for the most part (except maybe Blackjack) casino players are looking for nice features and promos for the various casinos. For instance, slots players choose slots games many times for the colors, or theme or something cool that strikes them as fun and entertaining. Many casino players are looking for entertainment or to be entertained whereas I think many poker players are looking to better their game or find the best tables to play.

Just have a look at www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com and you will see some of the affiliates there with their websites. The content is of course different, with casinos the main tools affiliates have is to run contests or slots tournaments, provide exclusive bonuses and inform the players of new games (slots). There are a few sites dedicated to strategy but once you write the content once it can't change that much, an example would be www.wizardofodds.com.
