Default Rakeback in other markets

Hey Guys, when I say other markets I am really referring to players outside the usual hot zones (US, Uk, Canada, etc). How is the best way to market rakeback to some of the countries where poker is still relatively new? Do these players want rakeback more or less than everyone else?

I'm not sure if other markets necessarily want it more or less, but there is definitely a market outside of the "hotzones" you mentioned for players whom are interested in rakeback.

We have had a great deal of success with rakeback outside of the "Hot Zones". As marketers, we must first inform these players as to what rakeback entails. For many of these markets, rakeback is a new and a foreign concept. Informing the players is easy. They just need someone to point them in the right direction. Once the players figure out how much money they can save/earn from rakeback, the product sells itself.

Good point here Tony. I have really been trying to research what markets are most interested in poker. It seems like to me that countries where poker is relatively new (like Spain) the players would be more into major deposit bonuses vs. rakeback. But like you said, once the players become aware its available the product will sell itself.

I don't think I even get any US rakeback players these days - all my fresh guys come from Turkey, LOTS from the netherlands, Germany, France, and a ton from Canada.

Just fwiw anyways.

Nice call MJ, I used to see a massive number of Turkish players come through the door back in my Boss Media days. Those dudes were some of the craziest players I've ever seen I know that the German market is massive into rakeback as well.

PAS has worked with some Russian and other Eastern European sites that I know of. Any feedback on where are great new markets for RB guys?

PAS is currently working with a lot of publishers from Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. We have also seen a lot of interest in Rakeback from Latin America, Canada, and Australia/New Zealand.

When was the email sent? I am up to date on all Publisher Support emails as of today. I am thinking it got moved to Tech Support. Could you please send the email to: Publishers at PokerAffiliateSolutions.com.
Also, we could speak over IM if you would like.

Sorry about the confusion/delay.

Best,
