Most casinos offers a match deposit bonus for new players, meaning they will match your deposit up to a certain amount. For example, with a 100% up to $100 bonus, you can deposit $100 and the casino will credit your account with $100.
Some casinos offers a no deposit bonus where they will credit a player's account with money for just signing up an account. They don't have to deposit. In each situation, the casino usually requires a play through requirement in order for the funds to be withdrawn. For example, a 25X play through requirements means that you will have to wager 25 times your bonus amount in order to withdrawal. In the above example, you would have to wager $2500 before you are able to withdrawal. I hope that helps. Mark |

Just ask away but I will try to cover a wide spectrum.
No deposit signup bonuses: Maybe half the online casinos out there have this an incentive to get signups. Similar to freerolls in poker tournies. Est conversion rate is 50:1 Free play: Personally I hate these and I think they are misleading but they work and if they didn't you would never see it around. Some sites let you play with $500 or $1000 in "free play" credits. They say you get to keep what you win but what you win ends up appearing in the form of a signup bonus. If you read the terms and conditions and try it yourself then you might feel tricked but they work. Signup bonuses: Typically the higher the % the more conversions you get but more conversions look nice but you are really after retention with repeat players who add value to the casino and to your commission account. The higher the % the more risk is placed on the casino from bonus abuse. You will see terms becoming very strict as the percentages get higher and it's fairly common to see slots play being the only acceptable wagering for bonuses. Sticky bonuses: This means the bonus cannot be cashed out itself but the bonus money can be used to win money. Example is deposit $100, get $200 signup bonus, start with $300. Assume the wagering is $6000 and your cashin balance is $4500 (if you're lucky) then the $200 bonus is removed from your cashin. Cash back: Get cashback on losses. thisisvegas has monthly cashback of 10% on losses, great for retention and players never say no to perks. These can come in the form of daily cashbacks, weekly, or monthly. Comp Points: Maybe this isn't a big seller but some people out there do keep an eye out for these things. Having double or triple comp points on a slow day like Tuesday can get more player activity and never hurts for retention. Payment Processor bonuses: Example would be using EcoCard over credit cards. Give them 10% extra bonus for using a certain payment processor. Saves on fees and chargebacks to the operator so it's a good incentive the players get Tournaments & contests: Tournaments themselves can vary widely but are becoming popular quickly with casinos, especially slots tournaments. Other tournies include blackjack and video poker. Have top prizes for the top 10 players and can even setup freerolls as well. Contests can be similar to a tournament just depends on the rules. So many ways to set it up whether based on wagering or # of bets placed,etc... Loyalty bonuses: The signup bonus typically is the best one but most players will get bonuses from time to time. Either weekend promos, happy hours, extra comp points you name it. Exclusive bonuses: They have seen them everywhere. Signup with site X and get more. If your site promotes no deposit bonuses then maybe you can get a little more ND offers. I think I covered most of it but I am sure there are a few things left out. John |
