Default Forex Robots are they whack or what?

Forex affiliates I'm writing to get some feedback on your thoughts on automated forex robots. Now I can see the appeal of getting a piece of software for a reasonable amount and sitting back and watching the money roll in. Most of these programmes offer huge returns for predicting the market. What really annoys me, and some of you may own a site like I'm going to describe, when you look at the websites offering this software that can potentially make you thousands of $ a month the site is a one page site that you scroll down and down and down. Full of testimonials from random customers (I hate those) Lots of poor graphics displaying how the software works and how you can profit. And after half an hour of scrolling you get to the price.

My argument is this........ If you are going to sell a product that is meant to provide a massive ROI why don't these people invest in getting a half decent website? Now maybe everybody is like me and thinks this is a con. Or these guys are making a shed load from crappy websites because the product is that good.

I've never tried a robot when I've traded and I have a Forex site. I'm half tempted to try it but I don't think my blood pressure will be able to take it if it predictably fails.

Do any of you promote them? Have you tried them?

Rant over.
My site is......

www.moneyfx.co.uk

I've spoken out about this on my blog but I'd like some affiliate input.

Well of course these Bots are Whack but the sales Pages arent i bet they convert really well.

People love long Copy and Testimonials, classic Copywriting type of salesletters going back to the days of direct mailing.

It doenst matter if they are selling a forex bot or "how to loose weight in 30 days without doing anything and eating what you like" or "how to chrush your competition with these deadly hand to hand combat technics special ops Soldiers use to dominate their enemys". Its the same stuff that still works.

When I read those long sales pitches with the testimonials I see scam not deal. But I take your point, they probably do convert. I just thought a good designed website could do a better job.
