Casino News and Jackpot feeds

I remember on my first or second unsuccessful attempt at running a casino portal I used a few 'progressive jackpot' feeds and RSS News feeds from various casinos. These were a great 'filler' for content but obviously did nothing for my SERPS. I can imagine that if I had a jackpot theme site then this might have worked better. Anyone else have any luck with using these and where do you place them?
