Did you do it intentionally? Like, did you veer off the road onto a curb to smoke it?

Actually, that's exactly what I did. I severly damaged my car in the process.

I like saying it's an accident to my friends or else they would disown me.

Because of karma, I felt obliged to donate to the raccoon charity foundation afterwards

I have a site based on the "raccoon" keyword and I don't want the SEO gods to come after me.

---

No seriously, I just ran over the damn thing... sucks.

I'm sorry but you just had me in stitches!

don't feel bad about running it over... I believe everything happens for a reason, maybe it was carrying rabies and could have spread to another racoon which would have wiped the whole population of racoons out and you saved the population of racoons by accidentally running over the one main threat

I actually ran over a raccoon many years ago and just clipped him. I look in the rear view mirror to see him wounded but not dead in the middle of the road. I felt bad and figured turning around and taking him out would be the humane thing to do (to end his pain).

So I turn around and head towards him as he's laying in the street. I run the car up to around 40 MPH and aim directly for him. As I head towards him and he's writing in pain, the SON OF A BITCH STANDS UP COMPLETELY STRAIGHT a micro second before impact. This thing was at least 3 fee tall!

The SOB caused major damage to the front of my car and being 18 years old at the time, it was a big deal to have to pay an insurance deductible to fix it!

So raccoons beware! If you're reading this, expect no pity from me ever again.

Ermmmm... yeah! Those fuckers can really damage your car. Next time pull over, get your 4 iron out, and smack the little bastard. It's like seal clubbing, except they're not as cute.

That is hilarious, he stood up at the last second to take it like a man.

The ironic part is I was listening to raccoon roll music when I ran him over...
