So may paypal account got "limited access" this week. When I called them about it, first I was on hold for literally 30 minutes. You would think a multi-billion dollar company could afford a better support staff.
My account is limited because I sold a website on Ebay that was "gambling related"..........okay I've been doing this for two years and furthermore the Ebay auction is still up. Aren't they the same company?????
Anyhow while my account is limited I can't do any of the following:
receive payments
send or request money
add funds to your account
electronically transfer funds to and from your account
close your account
So today I get an email saying I have a negative balance because there was a charge on my debit card. Okay fine.......my wife probably bought something.
I call them and they basically tell me that this account will be limited indefinately. Now my concern is that if it is frozen for eternity should't I be able to close it?
I really would not prefer to have an account open that I can't use.
Now to prove how fuct up this company is the customer service rep tells me to simply just open up another account. Unbelievable.
My ending thoughts on this is that paypal sucks and without Ebay they would cease to exsist. Unfortunately being owned by Ebay they are a nessacary evil. Thanks for allowing me to vent. I am now off to verify my new paypal account.
