Replace Marketing Code with Bonus Code, very important since the account creating dialogue in german will ask the player for bonus code, not marketing code (which will only confuse players). I have never heard anyone using Marketing code in German.

first of all, if you had a look at the url, its marketing code... of course marketing code is not as common as bonus code (yet?!)? But if you check some german sites are trying to rank for that term now and see how it goes.

then, kriegen might not be as formal as receive but have you ever seen a site here and there using "get" instead of "receive"? That is exactly the same story.

The purpose for posting here and double checking the translation was because it was done by sizz, who is trying to improve himself once again. I thought that since this was the german forum I could post to ask for others opinons on it not to be told that maybe I should have just had someone else do it. I am not doing this with all the languages I had done, only Sizz because he is trying...also noted that I was one of the few people who would speak to this guy six months ago but he is puttig the effort forward.

The bonus zu harlton part is my bad..I split the sentance up. Thank you catfish for your time, when I asked about doublechecking you had said that it wasnt a problem.

It is no problem at all. If I had minded checking it I wouldnt have done it.
Actually, I didnt look at the URL, so I didnt realize that the term marketing code was used on purpose. Again, I can't see any point using marketing code instead of bonus code. I do not know any site that uses this term, never heard anybody use "marketing code", so I gave my opinion.
As to the term kriegen, it is not the same difference like between get and receive, believe me. It's a term that you just don't use in writing.

And sizz, if you find that if you find someone arrogant because he is trying to help when asked to, and ends up criticizing your work in the process, well that looks like someone with a major ego problem to me...

and there are allways some words that can be translated in many ways-so get means erhalten,bekommen,kriegen but noone would use kriegen in this sentence

at the end-its hard to be perfect in german language and if there are only two words wrong he did a good job
