How to cash an international check

Since poker room pulled out of the USA market, I havent promoted them. However, I apparantly got a CPA sign up recently from overseas, and earned a $110 commission which was sent by check. I deposited the check into my account but it was returned by BofA saying that it was an international check and needed to go through something called "collections" which they only do for checks $200 and above, and for which they charge a $40 fee.

Anyone got any ideas on where I can cash the stupid thing?

Try a cheque cashing place like Money Mart (here in Canada) or something similar. They may be able to do it and will also charge a fee, but it won't be as much as the bank.

I went through that same thing, eventually I had the small checks canceled and placed back into my affiliate account. It might be easier to do this and have them send it to an ewallet or something.

i don't know it is so expensive in your country.

Try asking all the other banks about their fees, maybe you will find one bank that do not charge anything at all
