June Increase in Tourney Rake

Anyone else seeing a nice spike in tourney rake this month with all the WSOP satellites, especially at FullTilt for example? I don't think I have ever seen such a high % of my overall commission be from tourney juice.

Hence why I will never promote a room on MGR that doesn't pay tourney rake.

I'm trying to prepare myself for the post WSOP satellite let down when next month's aff fees will probably be about a quarter of this month's.

I havent bothered to check to see if my AP tourny rake is up, but my top 2 promoted sites HAVE FOR SURE had a good spike in overall MGR - so i guess you could be right and that its either to do with WSOP qualifiers or which is what i think it was, is just that with all the wsop on tv and wsop buzz, it just made people play more online poker.

just like when wimbledon is on, you cant get a court anywhere and when the snooker championship is on, all the snooker halls are jam packed.

And yes i agree Jeremy, i also will never promote a room that doesnt pay tourny rake (and doesnt even say so in their T&C) which is a real shame as i do very well with AP and would love to promote UB too.
