Bonus codes in other industries

Anyone promote other industries through the use of offline bonus/promotion codes. I have had good success promoting with bonus codes, and would like to parlay that into another industry. What industries/companies offer bonus codes as a tracking method?

Great question, I've been thinking the same thing for a while now. I've even thought about trying to start a new trend in other markets. The trick is finding something extremely competitive (plenty of quality brands), with boatloads of cash running through it. Hmmmm......any ideas?

Coupon codes are very common in mainstream retail affiliating. Pretty much most ecommerce stores offer coupons.

Do the coupon codes track buyers to you in the same way that bonus codes track players to you? Do you typically receive recurring revenue from one buyer entering a coupon code? For example do you enter the coupon code when signing up thus tracking all subsequent purchases to the affiliate?

Good question... I think some affiliate programs do offer this - I think some web hosting ones do.

I haven't personally experimented with these but coupon affiliate sites are EXTREMELY common.

A quick google showed currentcodes.com, etc.
