Taking this thread back on target.

Full Tilt screwed me again this month. They deducted a "player fraud" of around $1500 right off my commision. I know that other sites like Party does this too. But usually, they assume a percentage of the liability. If you're on 20% commission, you only get charged for 20%. But, Full Tilt deducted the entire 100% amount against my commission.

I sent them an email, hoping that it was a mistake. I'm getting very close to dropping Full Tilt. Their commission structure is pathetic.

That does sound like a mistake. I'll be interested in hearing the outcome of this.

How do you know the fraud wasn't $1500x5... I mean, I'm just asking, do you have a way to tell that the $1500 = 100% of the fraud?

On the details page, it says the charge back was $1500. Then, they deducted that entire amount off my commissions. So, I'm sure I was charged for 100%.

JEREMY....

What is your take on this?

Stephen?

Others?

Do you think we can get full tilt to stop deducting processing fees?

It seems like CPA is the way to go with them.

I think it would be very interesting to try and set up a conference call or the like with these guys. I've sent them quite a bit of business but I'm starting to reconsider my focus in the future based on a few factors. My reasons go deeper than just the fees but I don't want to discuss them openly in the forum.

Let's see where this thread goes and take it from there.

It is quite amazing that people are drinking the FTP kool aid. I have mentioned this story several times but it is worth repeating. IN season 2 of the WPT I met with Andy Bloch and gave him some ideas that I thought would be good in hopes of getting on board with FTP. Andy loved the ideas and thought I should talk to Chris Ferguson immediately. That evening I had dinner with Chris, who is genuinely a nice guy and as I went further into my ideas it became clear that the best approach was through an affiliate program. Chris looked at me odd and said "we have no plans to have an affiliate program as of yet". OK, that isn't so shocking but then the next thing he said is that they didn't believe that was the right direction.

Circa today, they have one, it clearly sucks. It sucks because they didn't want one from the beginning. I think all sites view affiliate programs as somewhat of a necessary evil. But when a site is giving you 20% when the industry standard is much higher, I think that is ridiculous. Couple that with the crazy chargebacks and I don't think you have a good partner. I hope it changes because I like everyone at FTP and I think they are great for poker.

I hear you Beanie, but new players seem to love fulltilt... at least imo. we are getting good #'s and good conversions there.

I'm hopeful that they will continually revise their affiliate program as of right now it is pretty crappy. If we didn't have the systems in place to promote fulltilt I wouldn't spend time creating them and I'd focus my efforts on a couple of other sites.

I could be wrong about this, but I have the feeling that there is only a very small handful of people handling the affiliate program. I've requested a personal manager a few times now (via email) and they've never sent me a contact name.

Does anyone here work with a personal manager at fulltilt? I also just checked to see if my deposit had been made into my account (not yet, but it's early on the 15th still).
