Social Bookmarking

Does anyone use social bookmarking on their sites right now and if so how effective do you think it is for you? Hard to gage I realize but I am looking for some feedback from our niche...

I use it I find it acn bring you some traffic although that will go drop after a while. A good one I have found besides digg is stumble upon/delicious. I will recieve more hits from those two over any other

I've been using it and at first found some activity but it has really dwindled down. Unless you have some super unique stuff or a great article, social bookmarking buttons will be a waste of time. On top of that, it leads users to other places.

In my experience, social bookmarking isn't to effective in the poker indusry. For example, it's very unlikely that you'll ever have a poker article reach the front page of digg. There's only been a handfull, and of those most came from real news sites and not poker affilaite sites. Even the latest bodog story only made it to 343 diggs before getting buried.

Stumbleupon has been the best social bookmarking site for me. Every once in a while i'll get a nice surge of traffic from them.

yeah, unless you have some revolutionary software you offer for free...and a ton of poker enthusiasts hear about it quickly...and happen to social bookmark things...its not going to be much benefit.
