PAW Sub Affiliate Program Additional Information

Hey Oz, I sent you a PM. Yea for now just promote with the refferal code. The hacking set us back a couple days. Once the coders get in on Monday the actual affiliate links will be checked and double checked. Then I will feel comfortable having you use them.

Are you using cookies now? If a sub aff clicks on my link and decides to sign up later. Will he still be tracked under me even if he goes through affiliates.pokeraffiliateworld.com? Will the referral code still be there?

i think not, if the webmaster search for the main page for PAW program details and sign up

Hey guys, the affiliate url links as well as the referral codes are all working now.

I will get a sub-affiliate page up tomorrow with all the information, but for those of you already promoting on the network you can login and see your sub-affiliate url in your control panel.

In regards to cookies, they are not active right now. We can do this, but I would like to get a consensus from the group. Signing up sub-affiliates is completely different than players. Especially because your link is tracked from the actual sign-up page.

The upside of cookies is obvious. But the downside is if someone clicks on the sign up page from somewhere and hits the back button. Then you either make contact with them or sell them on the Network and they cannot sign up under you.

To me it really doesn't matter though. I will leave it open to you guys.

Most importantly though is that the system is up and running at 100%. I tested links and tracking today and it all checked out great. If you would like to test your links or referral codes, please do so. You will see the new affiliates in your account. Just use the word TEST in the usernames and I can delete the accounts from the system. Thanks

This sounds like good news Jeremy and think WorldPokerAffiliates can play a big role in something like this. Any thoughts about a interface rather than just throwing up banners and text links on a re done spalsh page?
Developments with PokerOnTour are taken up most of my time and would like the WPA domain to self run itself if possible.

Agree with you, it would be nice to have a landing page when the affiliates click on our links. Looks kind of shady now. Just a form.

Is this a one level sub affiliate system or do I get % from my subs referred affiliates as well?

Also, is there any room to earn a higher % if we start bringing in a lot of affiliates? Just wondering, because 5% of the affiliates commission turns out to roughly 1.25% of their players' rake, and that's low compared to other sub-affiliate programs.
