Default Anyone made any videos?

No, I'm not talking about Pam Anderson videos, I'm talking about poker videos for your sites?

I'm wondering if it is difficult to make decent looking videos in your own home with just a video camera and a tripod.

Oh boy, I know I'm going to get some comments about the tripod...

Are you talking about online poker videos? Because you can just record the screen using a program like camtasia.

I think he might be talking about chip tricks or card tricks or something? If so, as long as you have a decent camera and a tripod it's very easy.

I do both screen recordings and live action videos for my site. Both are very easy to do. Camtasia costs about $300, and you can get a very solid camcorder pretty cheap. I have both a Flip Video camcorder (used for short videos and video blogs) and a Panasonic PV GS500 for my more serious vids. You can edit live videos in camtasia or get Sony Vegas for about $50.

I've used HyperCam (freeware) for video "screenshots", but there is always a problem with the synchronicity of video and audio when the files get bigger. Used Ulead for video producing, quite ok but not ideal. Question : Does the capture function of Camtasia have the same synchronization problem ?

Can people post any clips they have made?

I couldn't make my own, doubt everyone would understand my Irish accent

Maybe I could do a mime...

Hey John,
So you had that video clip made for you? I have seen that guy on other video clips on the net.

Or is that you?

I'd suggest just using iMovie or Final Cut Express on the Mac. If you don't have a Mac... then get one! It will make video editing a whole lot easier and more professional looking.

iMovie - Comes free with every mac.
Final Cut Express - $299.

There's also some great screen capture software for the mac called iShowU.
