Should we consider making a PAW Poker Room?

I was having a crazy idea, and I don't know if this has been discussed before:

PAW owners: have you considered making your own poker room?

I mean like using a known platform and building a new brand for online poker.

Possible advantages:
- Hundreds of affiliates to promote the room from the beginning;
- Several good ideas for features, promotions, and affiliate plans - just read the content of this forum!
- Possibility of affiliates having shares of the company and receiving profit from it
- Content for the website, in several languages - contributions of our members

Disadvantages:
- Since the platforms take a share of the profits, maybe there is little to be able to really have an edge over the competition.

I don't know if this is even possible or plausible, maybe It's the lack of caffeine or excess of sleepiness...

i guess the main problems are: -Costly licenses -Saturated and difficult market

That would be soooooo awesome...I want this thing setup by the end of next week lol...you better start packing J, Chicago isn't gonna be safe for you lol. I could be a support member...theres nothing to it.....if you get an email and the player asks 3 questions, give a BS answer for one of them and don't even acknowledge to the other two...then when the player sends another email asking about the other 2 questions just say "we will look into it"...then never reply to that player again...its very simple ! <---sorry, just venting a little.....but if this ever did happen it would be very cool and I would definitely promote and play there if eligible.

Didn't they kinda do that with Tony G Poker... I won't say any more on that subject.

Hmmmm, this is an interesting topic. I have had the opportunity to have a skin before and have always passed on it. The problem is that you need a large amount of marketing dollars to get started and be successful. Even then with a skin you are still only making around 70% and have to cover guaranteed tournies and bonuses.

Unless you can drive massive players, it sometimes makes more sense just to negotiate a killer MGR deal.

On the flipside of that however, if I were going to do some sort of group project, it would be a casino for sure. Liquidity is not as important.

To enter the online poker market now you will either need a ton of money or a great niche to focus on. If anyone reading this wants to invest a couple million though, please inquire within.
