divvy wordpress question

hi all

this is a really divvy / basic wordpress code question -

how do I make / what is the code for making a table so I can run text down the right hand side of a banner / image in wordpress blog ?

used to be really easy in blogger but I cant see a button for this or figure the code from looking on the net

need to do this -


xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx copy running on right hand side
xxxx image xxxx still running down this side etc
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx etc etc etc

Something like this would do it but it's just basic css.

div style="float:left; padding:0 5px 5px 0;"
your image
/div
your text

just put the brackets around the divs, it kept chopping them out when I tried to post it here.
