Default ASOP - Your Chance To Help Develop The Event

One of my new tasks this year is to help build the ASOP to be an even greater event than it already is. I am putting together a business plan and a report for the event this weekend.

I do think however that I was only given this responsibility because Warren and Alex are trying to keep pro's from playing. So with me working on it, I probably can't play.

Anyhow, I figured I would start this post to get any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback from you guys.

After all, the event is put on for YOU!

So please share anything you would like both good or bad about the ASOP.

Good: The number of tournaments hosted and the amount of seats that are obtainable. See you at CAP EURO

Bad : I missed the first couple events I guess? Not really a fan of Everest Poker.

The times of the qualifiers are my biggest issue. Thanks again alex for adding a few more for us N/A folks!

One other thing that you could consider is making it an online tournament with a small buy-in (say $50 or $100 - to ensure that people are serious about wanting to play), this will also add to the prize pool. Entrants must have their sites verified before being able to play. Also, it will make it so that everyone can play and not just those attending the conference (sometimes people have other plans).

Pleh @ Buy-ins :P I'm not real fond of those events that say you have to DL using a CAP Link either.

Can't talk about the other CAP/PAP free rolls but we have never used an affiliate link with an ASOP event

Oh and re: buy in - Would be nice but not sure how we woud manage this with regards to the legal side of things particulary in the UK where they are very strict that no money ever changes hands. We may be able to do something like this at CAP Springbreak though as that is likely to be offshore on a cruise so the law is a bit more relaxed.

I like this! Also keep the live game well.

Make it a "Poker On Tour" event!
