Thumbs down response from FT

Here is the email response I received from FT after voicing my concerns about this new 60 day policy. Not impressed. I will be dropping them.

Quote:
We will not be changing this policy. This has been a policy from day
one but we have only recently had the technology to implement this
policy which is why it will be coming into effect on the 1st April.

Regards,

Kevin

WOW - Are you serious? Wonder why I haven't received an email in return. I guess this is the way it is or Kevin will be fired - one or the other.

Hey on the bright side someone actually got a response.

But seriously you just the technology? Are you f'in kidding me? You have a full functioning poker site and you were just able to get this "technology". Statements like these are insulting, as was the original email sent out about this. Everyone knows that you weren't just finally able to find or develop this technology.

Let's be real here. Affiliates helped you build the second largest poker room in the world. I think there is little doubt that without these affiliates you would not have the second largest card room. The affiliates that helped build up your player base would have never done so for the last few years if this policy was always enforced. In all reality you knew it wasn't really feasible to implement this right off the bat being a new card room. If you did you wouldn't have gotten the massive support from affiliates that you got. Now you are big and know that is likely that you can now enforce this. Stop with all the bullshit nonsense and be real for crying out loud.

Hi,

As Full Tilt Poker grows our legal department has pressured us to clean up our terms and conditions. One of the definitions listed in our agreement from the beginning of the program was that real money players are defined as persons who make the minimum requirement within 60 days of opening an account. We have never enforced this rule before because we lacked the technology to do so, until now.

Full Tilt Poker converts players at a higher and faster rate than the industry standard, which helps you to turn new players into real money depositors more easily than the majority of rooms out there. Although you might be losing a small portion of players that will deposit after the first 60 days, the benefits of working with us should outweigh that. If you still feel the loss of the players will be too great, please email me directly at nell@fulltiltpoker.com and we can discuss ways of increasing your signups and conversion rates.

Nell

Ft also has the lowest MGR rate of any online room and charges more fees than any online room. I am considering dropping now too.

And to think I complimented their program just a few days ago and was considering revamping a site that was devoted to Full Tilt.

And as for cleaning up terms and conditions - YOU SHOULD DO THAT - remove the stupid stuff.

Sayonara Full Tilt. Give me a month or so and I'll just let my existing players play out. Hello Poker Stars.

Nell - Your legal department pressured you into cleaning up your terms? Then do it by changing it to 180 days. How can you go on to say we will only lose a small portion of players. That's an insult to say the least when we all have the stats in front of us.

Nell, why does Full Tilt let players create more then one account? Why doesn't the Full Tilt legal department clean up that mess? Why does Full Tilt turn a blind eye on affiliates telling players to uninstall the software and delete cookies and temporary internet files? I believe your T&C's do state one account per person, so is your legal team putting any pressure on the card room and AM's to start cleaning it up? I think Full TIlt has other issues that should take priority then something like this..IMO

One more question...what about the rakeback site that Kevin said was owned by FT

Ditto'd

Only difference is that we did revamp a site to feature full tilt poker (and it looks sweet too i might add) that I've now got to get changed...

I know you have taken a calculated risk here Full Tilt, but I truly believe this one is going to come back to bite you.

Clearly, they don't have the technology to do this yet.

I will be droping FT and focusing my time on rooms that refrain from screwing their largest marketing source. Way to go Full Tilt!
