Squeezing out the processing fees, FT Store fees, freeroll fees, etc no one likes- but puts up with because of conversions/retention. Now this? What's next - cutting revenue to only the first year of player life?

I have merged both these threads, and I realize this will be a huge topic of discussion over the next few days and probably weeks. Let's try to keep all the posts in this main thread.

This is very disappointing.

I will ask Nell and Jessica about this. I have seen other programs have this type of policy in past, but most never enforce it.

I would be very disappointed if all the players I sent in 05, 06, & 07 just disappear in in a couple months from my reports. It's bad enough as an MGR affiliate thinking back to all the whales I lost to rakeback over the years.

I couldn't agree more Jeremy! My original tracking code for full tilt was only 2 digits long...

Every single month there is a handful of players from 05/06 just now signing up and depositing for the first time. I would hate to see this policy retroactively enforced to those of us who are already affiliates.

Would be nice if it was just for NEW affiliates...but I doubt that would happen.

I just don't understand why poker affiliate programs want to make changes that are NEGATIVE for affiliates. You would think they would want to IMPROVE things for us??

Of course FT will say that this is not a change, cause it has been in the terms but not enforced...but IT IS A CHANGE!...since now it will be enforced.

Just another reason why the Affiliate Agreements are written with so many "advantageous" clauses for the affiliate program.

I had an argument when I first signed up with FT about fees...they said Party Poker (which everyone compared everything to back then) did deduct fees for player deposits...I was sure that Party didn't - only bonuses...they said, whether they do or don't it doesn't matter...because it is in their affiliate agreement.

You can't win with these affiliate agreements...I wonder what the new watchdog the APCW thinks about this? And also Jeremy?

I only have one thing to say about this:

I will not promote Full Tilt if this is enforced. Plenty of other fish in the sea.

Stars won't give us mgr (unless you're a super affiliate I guess), fulltilt is doing this.. What worries me is that I think several smaller sites are looking to these two sites for guidance in the industry.. Also, there isn't really anything we can do about it..

Nell, with all due respect, the people who run your analysis's must be retards. So far this month 23% of my depositing players have come from beyond 60 days prior. If you "have found" that players don't deposit after 60 days then why bother making this change.

Very simple, if this rule gets enforced Full Tilt will get as minimal amount of players as possible from me.

I think you know what my true thoughts are going to be on this. I'd rather stay professional right now though and just say I am not impressed and see no logical reason for taking this type of approach.
