What makes me sick is how they word the post 'make sure the affiliates get credit'. Then, Nell comes on here to say nothing has changed, when enforcement of this ridiculous clause is obviously a major change. This is the point -
they honestly think we're stupid. There is nothing more frustrating than patronizing and I know some of you think Nell is better than sliced bread, but I've been saying this for a while now.
When the hell are we gonna stand up to these programs and drop their asses? A collective group like this
does have a huge impact on them, and we
could make them change their minds about this. Otherwise, it would cost them zillions of players and they'd finally realize that we matter.
Here's what will really happen. A few will drop
FTP, but most will bitch and moan, then in another couple of weeks everyone will forget about it and continue to do what they've been doing.
Why don't we all just drop them, all of us, every one of us? In another month or two they'll either come back crawling on their knees, or we'll improve our signups at other rooms and we'll be alright.
As long as we continue to let them push us around, they'll continue to push us around until they have everything they want. What will we have left?
I'm thinking the PokerListings way of dropping
FTP, then explaining that it's because they treat their affiliates like crap is a pretty good idea. I wonder what type of impact we could have on their business with all of us letting the players know how we get treated. Think they'll worry about how they'll get treated?
