lol at the analogy. I think it would be an incredible opportunity

I know its not them, and I dont blame Nell or any AM, but I think AM's are there to help affiliates grow, to expand business and to be a voice for both the company and the affiliate. I don't get that impression with FT, and over the past few weeks this has been the case and more so with this recent "news"

Thought the same thing. Just when they were heading into the right direction...

This is possibly the worst thing I've heard in this business in quite some time. I average about 20 players that turn into RMP from over 60 days every month. Some of them are my biggest earners. I had someone make his first deposit this month and he signed up in 2005, when FTP was just coming on board. We helped them make FTP one of the leaders and now they are acting like one of the losers.

Very frustrating to say the least.

Full Tilt might think they will aquire a few free referrals this way but it will hurt them way more in the long run.

Reconsider FT

What a damn joke. I am so over my nickel and dime earnings with this program and them squeezing us every chance they get. I would rather send them nothing just out of spite then continue to let them squeeze by balls harder and harder. Man, there is not one single usa poker site that I feel comfortable pushing in a big way and really want to grow with nowadays, thats pretty damn sad. I need a runner!!!

Full Tilt-Squeez City
PDC- Questionable Retention Based On Ghost Town Traffic
Chipleader- Obvious
Cake- Think They Have The Clout Of FT To Push BS Fees To Affiliates
Doyles- Microgaming Platform Sucks And Hurts Bottom Line
Bodog - Bundles Earnings So You Stand To Make Nill On Certain Months

And the list goes on. Full Tilt has the nuts in this industry and are missing the boat on alot of exposure because of all this horse shit. Do they even consider the lost revenue from affiliates that piddle with them because they don't want to work for pennies compared to other programs? Cut the bullshit out and get more exposure thus more revenue, or continue to squeeze affiliates and walk over $100 bills to pick up pennies. Maybe one day they will get it, or maybe I am wrong and all the squeezing is actually a profit center, either way I am over it and am tired of working for half price. Just because they are big and branded now (partly because of great affiliates) shouldn't give them a license to use that to squeeze affiliates even more.

We should grow together like partners do and affiliates should be able to benefit from the inherent conversion rate that comes from a well known poker site, but instead they cut every corner they can to get us. True corporate bs with their company, cut cut cut.

We've been promoting FTP for the last 2 years, and we have nearly 20% of our players make their initial deposit more than 60 days after registering.

So, basically they just cut our revenue by 20%.

Thank You Drill Sergent! May I Have Another!

What makes me sick is how they word the post 'make sure the affiliates get credit'. Then, Nell comes on here to say nothing has changed, when enforcement of this ridiculous clause is obviously a major change. This is the point - they honestly think we're stupid. There is nothing more frustrating than patronizing and I know some of you think Nell is better than sliced bread, but I've been saying this for a while now.

When the hell are we gonna stand up to these programs and drop their asses? A collective group like this does have a huge impact on them, and we could make them change their minds about this. Otherwise, it would cost them zillions of players and they'd finally realize that we matter.

Here's what will really happen. A few will drop FTP, but most will bitch and moan, then in another couple of weeks everyone will forget about it and continue to do what they've been doing.

Why don't we all just drop them, all of us, every one of us? In another month or two they'll either come back crawling on their knees, or we'll improve our signups at other rooms and we'll be alright.

As long as we continue to let them push us around, they'll continue to push us around until they have everything they want. What will we have left?

I'm thinking the PokerListings way of dropping FTP, then explaining that it's because they treat their affiliates like crap is a pretty good idea. I wonder what type of impact we could have on their business with all of us letting the players know how we get treated. Think they'll worry about how they'll get treated?

Actually, I'll put my money where my mouth it, FTP is gone on my sites. I'll be removing them today. I've had enough of this shit, and Doyles Rooms, UB, AP, Stars and everyone else can benefit from now on. Many of us were only getting 6-10% after fee's anyway, so what is there to lose? Phuck FTP, I'm done with these pricks.

It does our industry a favor, if anyone wants to look out for their futures they'll join me. Otherwise you're helping to cause your own demise.

See ya FTP.

FT - "as based on our analysis it has been found that any player who creates an account and does not deposit within 60 days is unlikely to ever convert."

Then why is this necessary?

If you found this is true, what is the use of pissing off all of your affiliates?

Obviously you found you could save a ton as there is a lot of players that do convert after 60 days.
