Thanks for posting your stats TS. If others would do the same and post % stats it just proves the underlying facts on why they're doing this and that their analysis is BS.

I checked a few months prior and am finding the same numbers, 23%-24% of depositors per month will be lost if the rule goes into affect.

Then why is this necessary?

If you found this is true, what is the use of pissing off all of your affiliates?

Obviously you found you could save a ton as there is a lot of players that do convert after 60 days.
It all comes down to what they mean by "unlikely to convert". An individual play money player that has not deposited within 60 days may have a less than 5% chance of converting, but if an affiliate has hundreds or thousands of those players, that's a shit load of future RMPs that are at issue here.

(Note: the 5% number was just pulled out of the air to make a point, I'm not representing that it is accurate in any way.)

The problem is that if we continue to market them, they win again. They've taken, taken, taken, and taken.

There is only one way to cause them stop taking, that's for us to stop marketing them. That's it, that's the only way they'll get rid of these stupid clauses.

If you continue to market them, you are part of the problem. By continuing to market them, you are telling them that what they're doing is fair.

Other rooms will not continue to pay affiliates more if they know we're willing to take less. We have to put an end to this, and this is the only way it can work.

Please people, everyone wake up and take FTP off your sites. Otherwise, start expecting these types of clauses to pop up in the rest of our programs as well.

Sounds like a good time for Poker Stars to launch their new backend complete with MGR and all kinds of features...doesn't it?

Sure. At a quick look at my stats last 2 month: one player deposited after 1 year and another after 3 years.

Nell,

I'd just e-mail you but I'm sure others are wondering too - the newsletter stated that real money players are people who make a real money deposit - however as you obviously know, it's harder and harder these days for US players to deposit. Can you clarify whether someone who receives a transfer and players for real money, or even wins a freeroll and then plays for real money, would be considered a real money player?
