I have researched enough of Paradise and their affiliate program to be fully committed to the site. SOooo....with the permission of one affiliate manager at Paradise, looks like my store in the mall will be called Poker Paradise (opening soon!)

Good idea Jeremy with choosing Paradise. Now you will see me make your more than just a thousandaire. Getting an IPOD banner made to hang in the store, alongside CDs abound (courtesy of Stephen).

This is gonna be huge, and I wanna thank Jeremy for helping me decide which site to got to. Oh yeah, and it helps to read the Party Riches ebook *(plug plug).

Cool idea with the mall. Keep us posted.

I disagree with your choice of promoting Paradise hardest, but hopefully it'll work well for you.

Good luck with your venture

I think I am different from 99% of affiliates... I have horrible success with Paradise, Party, etc. and make huge amounts at some less popular sites. My players have deposited hundreds, and hundreds of dollars at Paradise (over $800 I think) and I have not made one single dime from them, not a penny! I did MGR instead of CPA at party, my average players makes like $5 - useless, but I have deposit ratios of > 50% at some other sites.

Thanks for your encouragement. The reason I decided full throttle with Paradise (and some devotion to Poker Room and Party) is that this Million Dollar FREEROLL is the first for online poker ever!

When you compare to Full Tilt and even Empire, the bonus incentive requirements are just ridiculous. Stephen (Paradise Affiliate manager) told me he deposited money into Full Tilt for a match bonus and he lost it! In fact, he was just trying to cash out his original $50 that he deposited, and he CANT! This is what our players need to avoid.

Paradise is virtually stress free, without all the mess. Party is good too, but I have been slightly dissapointed with the new policy. Some of my players have not played for 60 days, and they are no longer tracked to me. This is a bit maddening, as most of you will agree. So my total of 56 RMP has dimished to 42 or so. Paradise does not have such a policy.

On top of that, with this IPOD freeroll, this is a sign up booster (and eventual real money player converter). I have talked to Stephen about me putting together a SONY PSP Freeroll, which would be an alterative for people.

Stephen was also nice enought to send me quite a bit of Paradise CDs. Believe it or not, people NEED the CD. Its not that people are stupid, but the CD you just pop in and install, and people need this (plus they can pass it to friends). Sometimes people will not click on a link simply because they HATE popups, and I don't blame them.

I am hoping quite a bit of you will venture in this direction. With a lotta work, creativity, and some luck, you can prosper. Lets hope this turns out well for me, and for all of you a part of this as well.

Great idea. Although I would be worried about the exposure from a legal standpoint. With the US justice department being so against online gaming you never know which local authority may take it upon themselves to join the movement.

I guess it depends how you set it up. Good luck!

I would also be concerned about the legal aspects. The biggest legal hurdle is handing out software that enables people to bet with real money. A few CDs here and there isn't a big deal, but on a mass scale in a mall (and none too hidden), I'd be pretty nervous. Just me though...

I have mentioned this to Stephen (and also the store name, because i don't want a phone call later down the road about changing my store name).

I think the key word with legality in this venture is PLAY FOR FREE. This non-commital approach will lighten things up. Also, with cell phones abound, the fact that Poker Room now has mobile downloads for PLAY or REAL is another great thing to assist one in this direction. And the fact that you have to be 18 and not 21 to play online is helpful.

Words like FREEROLL and FREE is what will let us squeak by. Words like DEPOSIT, and GAMBLE we will have to keep out of the affiliate spotlight in order to keep our affiliate accounts in check.

I will have poker tournaments and give away GIFT certificates. This is an example of slipping though the legal cracks all the while attracting people to the sport of poker.

I think opening a store in the mall is a great idea, I am glad to see that finally people are begining to see the power of offline promotion.

I would hope you are going to sell some poker merchandise as well. Just sell it at break even prices and use the sales and conversation as a medium to push the online product. Also, are you choosing Paradise because they have the best program or because they have thr nicest Account Manager?

good luck man!
