hey guys... im starting a website.. and just had a couple questions... if i build the site independantly on DreamWeaver... do i only have to buy the domain name from GoDaddy and then upload what i built? or is there other things i have to buy... like a site builder? i dont want premade shit... i am confident of building it by myself...

You can either upload it to the site or publish it to the site. Either way, easy as can be.

If you have a site ready on your computer all you need is domain and also you will have to buy hosting. So from godaddy it's gonna cost 9 bucks for the domain + 4 bucks a month for hosting.

Just upload your design to the site. Godaddy is the best.

You need to get hosting somewhere. Go daddy is the worst company to deal with, but they are better as a registrar than a host. get your hosting elsewhere.

I have never had any problem with Godaddy and all my sites are hosted with them.

I have been hosting with godaddy and haven't had any problems what so ever. I used dreamweaver and built my site. Signed up with them and uploaded it the next day. Easy as can be and relatively inexpensive

GoDaddy's backend control panel cannot hold a torch to hostgator and some of the other big companies however. If you have never utilized all the tools in a good hosts control panel your crazy. easy to install php scripts, autoresponders, message boards, STATS, and a whole bunch more stuff.
