Promote U.S. Rooms Only??

Hey Everyone-

I am sure this topic may have been talked about a lot before, but I couldn't find it. So I apologize if I am starting a thread that has already been started.

Most of my traffic is from the U.S. I do get some other traffic of course...but majority is U.S. Actually, it might be about even but still.

My Question is this...

Is it a waste to promote online poker rooms that do not accept U.S. players? I mean, every time you promote Titan Poker instead of Pokerstars, you are sending potential players to a place they cannot even sign up at.

Example:

Let's say that I have a banner at the top of one of my sites. Why would I want to put a Titan Poker Banner up there instead of a Pokerstars or Fulltilt banner? New U.S. players will go to Titan Poker to sign up and play, then realize that they cannot sign up there. If I would have had a Pokerstars Banner, then I could have gotten that person to sign up.

If the visitor is not from the U.S; then either way they can still sign up so what does it matter?

Back to my question...If that made any sense?

Is there any point to promote the rooms that do not accept U.S. Players and why???

I say it depends I promote mostly U.S sites but i find you get paid more from Non U.S sites.
So If you were to send your NoN US traffic to a Non US site you ushaly make more.

If your traffic is mostly from the US you could go that route, promoting only the US-friendly ones. You could concentrate on those sites and go from there, always analyzing your traffic.
