Just wondering what people think about this business card:



Any idea for the overall design or text/marketing?

I really like the design. And the text looks good. I'm not really crazy about the blue on the online tourneys, but overall it's a great design.

Are you going to have other contact methods on the back? Messengers and such? I know from some experiences some people rather IM than email.

So anything I do I always try to have at least one of my messengers on my cards or emails.

The cards are for the owner, John, but I think he is using them mainly just for advertising rather than a normal business card with contact info etc. - More like a flyer really - so the email is mainly just for any problems.

The blue is just from the OnlineTourneys logo - Http://www.OnlineTourneys.com so there isn't really any way to change the colour

I have been thinking of making business cards, Is there a cheap online company to do this or is it cheaper to do it locally?

I know that online prints, does decent work, and a pretty fast turn around on things as well.

There arent many companies local so John is getting everything done online but with companies that aren't too far from here.

We are in Ireland.

Everyone here should have a business card.

It's the cheapest advertising on the planet.

You never know........ one little card could change your life.

Just today I hit a kid, maybe 20, at my local beer store who I noticed plays on Party Poker during work on the company's computer.

I've been schmoozing him for weeks knowing that he, and a lot of his college chums are big-time poker fans and play in all the local bar tournaments.

Today I put together a bag full of Party hats, t-shirts, a sweet Party windbreaker jacket, just for him, a couple of poker books, Hellmuth's and John Vorhas online poker book and of course a bundle of Party Poker business cards and fliers with my bonus code.

Just a few minutes of work will pull in several new sign ups and word of mouth advertising within my local community. People talk.

I'm Dave, that Party Poker guy with the cool Party hats and t-shirts in my hometown.

Business cards and fliers, word of mouth... both going viral is the cheapest most effective way of getting new sign ups and anyone can do it.

In fact the smaller your hometown the better... No competition.
