Should really keep my nose out of this but...I won't.
I feel having a personal go at Amy and calling for her to be fired is way beyond what is called for here. If the CEO is also using the same methods then we must assume it is company policy and Amy is only following orders.
I by no means support or agree with the Spin32 spam, but I've had worse, much worse, from other companies recently and feel a bit of a witchhunt is developing here. Remember she's just a person doing her job - no need to get personal.
And to Graham - don't burn your bridges, she may be good looking
I know absolutely nothing about Spin32 apart from the fact they left flyers/cards all over the place at CAP Euro
Not the best thing to do in such a tight knit community. Here is the thing, this isnt promoting a Sale or some Community Event. These are savvy affiliate marketers who if anything will lose (most likely have already lost) all respect for the brand.
Is this thread about emails or PAP? I don't get it. If it's about PAP, affiliates spamming it with is ten times more prevalent than the handful of posts from AM's with less than ten posts.

Here is the short version:
This was originally a post about AMs spamming on PAP, but somehow it spiraled into this... shortly after Cheryle posted her email from Spin32 they went and spammed some other threads on the site which it spiraled into a discussion about them. Then, today all these people felt like it would be a good idea to bring the thread back to defend spin32. That is where we are now. I think it was just bad timing on their behalf and really didn't want point fingers at anyone in particular as I mentioned in my original post.
Edit - I did end up having a chat with the owner of Spin and he seems like a nice guy. Anyway he said they weren't interntionally trying to spam affiliates. The email addies they have are from previous contacts. He seems alright and is open to hearing ideas from affiliates
Obviously he didn't listen... just received:

I was coming here to bump this thread as well Graham. Normally I don't ever talk bad about another company, but I am getting sick of receiving spam from Spin32.
I have received 8 different emails from them, all of them I have responded to asking the simple question "what site is it that I own". Not one has been responded to. Then I received THREE emails this morning from cambell@spin32.
One starts out as

the other one is the same but they think I own Pokeraffiliateworld.com. Way to do your research.
Seriously, its companies like these that give affiliate programs a bad name. For every hard working Affiliate Program out there is who bust their ass to make sure their affiliates are happy and taken care of, there is one scummy brand that just spams the shit out of everyone. Makes me sick.
If the owner would like to contact me and find out how to run a true program, you know where to find me.

The bottom line is that the company sucks. I'm sick of their spammy shit, you may like it and find a way to justify it but I think it's safe to say we are all sick of it.. I have over 25 emails from these people, more than half from Amy and it's really old..
So, fire Amy, fire Cambell, arrest their owner, and shut that POS company down.. I really makes me want to make a site AGAINST spin..
Obviously Amy or any of the rest of them have no sense at all or they would launch an effective marketing strategy and stop all this point less spam that is having the opposite effect than what they intended. The funny part is, they are too stupid to realize it..
You would think that the network would put a stop to this. I remember a long time ago when Ellen was part of Carbon/Poker.com her saying that the Merge Network had zero tolerance for this kind of stuff.
