It's silly to even assert, especially since all this traffic apparently leads to nothing since they lose market share every day.

Well all im saying is that im fairly sure alexa is pretty accurate for sites in the top 10 thousand. And im assuming google trends is pretty accurate otherwise google probably wouldnt release it.

And im guessing most of the data comes from toolbar installs so again, it would suggest its pretty accurate.

If i am wrong i apologize, but i dont think im wrong

Alexa is pathetic. Surely a site at number 115 gets more traffic than one ay 115,000 but beyond that nobody really knowledgable takes it seriously. Take a look at
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/tr...erlistings.com
20% of their traffic comes from Sweden? That's ludicrous. The number is skewed because their staff all add the Alexa toolbar. In fact, look at the bottom, 3% of their traffic gos to master.pokerlistings.com, which is a private staff login area!

Alexa is trash. Look at Compete, Quantcast and now to a lesser extent Google for free data, and Hitwise and Neilsen if you got 20k to spend.

Also, DDoS attacks are not "traffic" in any uselful sense. And with partypoker Alexa says 25% of its traffic goes to espanol.partypoker.com... yet the only two Spanish language countries that send meaninful traffic, Spain and Mexico, send only 1.6% together. This is an impossibility. The data presented is worthless.
