I was just chatting to someone the other day about how I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a big shake up of domains soon. The current system is very restrictive and penalises new companies too much (imagine the domains that would be left to buy in 25 years time).
But....what does this mean? You can register your own tld like .poker and keep it all to yourself? Or you can register a domain with any tld in the same way you can now but the tld options are endless? OR are they just removing the supposed restrictions on net's and orgs?
Don't really get this - anyone know what they're on about?
