Default The Best Tools for Staying Organized

Inspired by Jeremy's "Best Wordpress Plugins" post, I'd really love to hear what tools you guys use to keep your internet business organized.

What do you use for;

Finances
Affiliate Logins/Passwords
Bookmarks

Or feel free to share any other tips or tools that really helped you get your affiliate business well organized and under control.

I would start, but I'm unorganized.

Finances - This one is a headache right now, I am setting up my own business and the government in my country demands valid documentation on each transaction. Can I get documentation from the affiliate programs? What do other people here do?

Affiliate Logins/Passwords - My head only. I login/logout from 30-40 sites everyday so it's a lot to remember.

Bookmarks - Only bookmarked a site once in my life.

I'm a big fan of using Excel for lots of those types of things. I keep Excel open all day and have different files for different things like Finances, logins, etc.

For things like affiliate program logins and payment information stuff, I keep a Word Document since it can be quite a bit of information to list.

Make sure to print out a new copy of those each time you update it and store a hard copy somewhere safe. That way, if your computer crashes, you have all the information.

I used to use roboform for passwords. I don't anymore because I had two copies (a flash drive copy and a hard disc copy) installed for awhile and the .dll's were having some trouble getting along.

Broke the habit and use my head as well now . But it's a good option.

Here are some other things I do:

I use a google spreadsheets plugin for wordpress to keep track of links sold. I could use a better plan for remember they are expiring, but this is better than what I had goin' on.

I use a project manager to organize what I have goin on and when.

I print every months affiliate statement, and paypal statement. + I have big plastic envelope where I keep every receipt. I write on the back what I bought if it doesn't say *pencils* etc.

www.netvibes.com is awesome for keeping organised, so many widgets on there that I use that help keep my websites running daily, things like to do lists and such are so helpful.

I've been using iBank for the Mac recently to keep finances in order ... I'm quite impressed actually.

It's certainly made things easier to sort out.

Hello everyone. I'm new around here but wanted to start chiming in. I use excel for tracking both finances and link terms. I have a big spreadsheet to track all my sites month by month.

We have everything in various documents. Between affiliate accounts which lay out the contact names, account numbers, trackers etc, to links pages showing to and from, anchor text and dates of when links went up as well as to do lists. I have never kept so many records of one site before but its very helpful having everything where it needs to be so I must thank him for that

Excel for the majority of things, I can get away with this because I don't have many players and don't expect too many. Better than my old system...

Finances on the left, player info on bottom right, and the top layer is anything I might need to access quickly

For logins, I use Roboform, it has made life way easier!

For bookmarks, I have some on IE and some on FF. I don't use a third party.

For finances, I have a wife.
