Default Some Big Concerns with PAW

I have spoken with PAW support about this issue and an explanation has been given to me, however I want to post all the details of the issues because something is not making sense to me and I am obviously very disappointed, frustrated and angry about this.

Yesterday I logged into my PAW affiliate account for the first time this month to see that I had sent 32 Real Money Players to Ladbrokes which works out to $4,000 in commission under the new promotion, man I was excited! Today I logged into my account and to my surprise, everything was gone, all 0's and no commissions due. I was obviously extremely pissed and worried about this, but being that I am in Canada no one from PAW was around at the moment and I figured I would have to wait it out for the day to get an explanation. Here is the screenshot of my account with the earnings in it.

This evening, I spoke to Kane on Skype and he informed me that the scraper for PAW had malfunctioned and that it was taking sign-ups and putting them as qualified CPA's. Because of this, PAW had apparentely deleted all of the data in everyone's account until the scraper had been repaired. I then obviously asked him to manually check my stats and send me a screenshot of the account activity, which can be seen here. As you can see, these stats do not show even 1 new account, which makes no sense, so the original reason for the error wouldn't have been valid. I pointed this out, and then was told that it was taking clicks as RMP's and that he had been mistaken (wow some of you must have thought you were rich).

The conversation I had with Kane on Skype can be seen here in its entirety. This is obviously a major punch in the face as this was a large amount of commission, and I would like to know exactly how this malfunction occured, why it happened and what steps are being taken to prevent anything further happening. I will also email Ladbrokes directly to get them to double check the information.

Anyways, I am not trying to bad mouth the network, but I just felt that this was not something that I could let go and is a big concern for everyone promoting through the network. After this incident I doubt I will be using PAW anymore on my sites as I cannot justify errors such as these.

If anyone else has or is having any problems with the PAW network, please post them here as I think we all have a responsiblity to let each other know what is going on.

Regards,

John

Hi John,

Thank you for posting your concerns up.

I have just sent an email regarding the issue but i'll give a more in depth explanation specific to your account.

First of all, the PAW screen shot was dated for stats up to 23rd, whilst the screen shot from ladbrokes is up to the 27th.

Our developers had taken it upon themselves to fix the issue as soon as possible, and we were only informed of it after it had been fixed.

As scrapping is automated, when a room changes anything on the backend, it can affect the stats. In this case, Kane had mentioned, it was taking the UVs as RMPs instead of the New Acct as the RMPs.

For this very reason alone, we manually verify the PAW stats at the end of the month, to ensure that it matches up with the final stats from the room, which is why we have often mentioned here in the forums, that the stats may not be completely accurate until we have locked the rooms.

John, I can certainly empathize with what you are saying, and for all it's worth, we do our utmost to ensure that affiliates are being paid for the traffic that they are bringing through.

Feel free to direct any further concerns through to us.

Thanks

In PAW's defense since I know the system quite well, I can assure that it probably was a problem with the scraper. If Ladbrokes changed even one column or any type of code in their backend (which they never let PAW know when they do) it will mess up the stats.

It does suck when you see all those RMP's though and then find out that it was a scraper error.....

In a perfect world the rooms should be providing PAW datafeeds, and then these scraping issues would be negligible.

If need be, let me know and I'm sure Mitchell will allow me to login to the Ladbrokes account and verify everything to give you a piece of mind.

Either way it's frustrating and I can empathize with you.

Thank you for your responses, this apparently is a combination of very bad timing and obviously is really frustrating, but I now get why it happened. Jeremy thanks for the offer but it's ok, the screenshot that Kane gave me pretty much sorts it out. Thanks, John

Default Ladbrokes error?

Hi
I am observing this topic and I am having the same problem.
to date on 23 I had 41 players on Ladbrokes and for my suspresa today appears only 11 RPM in my reports.
as 30 players can vanish from one day to another?
in the past months I had some players in my mind now for that month had not spoken since met the requirements for payment of CPA then work one months almost full and I only have 7 players?
impossible because I know that more players joined the LADBROKES due to freerolls, and also by 300k to 20k freeroll pokernews.
something this wrong and I would like very much that someone from LADBROKES speak something about to leave everything resolved.
Sorry for any error of words but my English is poor and I am using a translator not very good
regards
Alex

Hi Alex,

The CPA requires not just a deposit, but also to play the amount of $20. I'm not entirely sure if the play in the tournament is included, but will certainly look into it for you.

Hi Mitchell
I understand that players must play with $ 20 worth of chips to enable the CPA in Ladbrokes do not understand with only 30 players can vanish from one day to another of my reports.
that is the question.
I know that many players have made deposits to play freeroll of 20k, 300k and in Ladbrokes and should be playing there because it is a good poker room on.
I have not had even a satisfactory answer about the numbers on Ladbrokes because I had similar problem with Luckyacepoker I started to disclose in 2 days and blocked my link accusing me of traffic fraudulent and claimed that it was because the players that have opened in LA to be all of Brazil and some of them have minimum deposits of $ 30.
understand that work harder because only players with Brazilian and there is nothing on the site speaking that players should deposit $ 50 or $ 100 usd.
if you can help me this question I will be grateful
regards
Alex

I had the same thing and I'm quite dissapointed. If there can be too many players in the system, it can probably be too little too. This proves that one more "middle hand" can lead to additional problems.

I'm not thrilled about this.

Not another person who has the bright idea that they can send lots of players, all who just barely meet the minimum requirements, and expect to be paid. Who would have thought poker rooms don't want to pay 100 times the player's value? In the end this just makes it harder for legitimate affiliates who don't scam.
