I have an idea... How about we start an ALEXA Chain.

What we do is, everyone download the toolbar...

Make sure you enable the anonymous rating feature of it.

Now, everytime you come to the forum visit our members sites:

http://www.tips4poker.com
etc.

And, we will increase our ALEXA rating 10fold. Now, your probably thinking WTF will a good ALEXA rating do for me...

#1. Makes your site look good.
#2. Allows you to link exchange with ALEXA top sites (certain places IE) ebaumsworld.com require > 100,000 to link exchange)
#3. Real Poker Sites respect you more (potentially increasing ad $$)

MORAL OF STORY: Post your sites below here, and visit each one every day and watch your ALEXA sky rocket.

It takes only a few toolbars per day to goto the top.

I have heard of people trying these. I have never heard of one being successful. However I've never been involved with a group that seems to be as active as this group. Might be possible. I'd be willing to give it a try.

Im willing to give anything a try that will improve the ranking of my site. How about someone organize this with e-mail. Than we can send out a weekly e-mail with all the sites in the chain. I will forget to do this if it gets buried in the board.

I'm up for it. It's hard enough to fight against all of the other "unique" ways of getting high search engine rankings. Can't we just use the links page?

Of course this is going to screw up my measurements of traffic....

The main goal of this project is simply to UP your alexa rating.

You should never use alexa to get an idea of the traffic you recieve. And the 8-10 of us that will be visiting your site on a daily basis won't tremendously affect your normal counter.

So it has been said...

USE THE MAIN LINKS PAGE

And visit your fellow affiliate brethern pages once a day with your alexa bar loaded. And watch your # rise.
