SO every time I say FTP in completion it changes to a subaffiliate link?
I dont know if that is good. I like full tilt so that doesnt matter, but lets say I dont some other company. That means when I say their name on here its giving them a link benefiting them.
I took it he meant the hotlinks to poker sites Fulltilt, pokerstars, etc. As intext additions. It dosnt really bother me, but the occasional word like blog will direct me to PAP blog when someone is talking about their own. No big deal but I have had a few mis clicks that way
I think it's ok to have it redirect to a page but only for certain terms when I think it might be useful. I doubt too many members here will see the link and go and sign up. I can see the use of something hotlinked like "poker strategy" if it leads to their strategy section though. But for actual sign ups I don't think it helps much..
I've never tried it though, so I'd like to hear Greg's and Jeremy's take on it.
I dont think it should be done for user generated content
I think we do enough by providing content that drives content. I don't agree with the new ad system, and think it distracts from our signatures .
It also leads a person to believe we endorse a product when we really don't. I think the links should be removed. Its different when you have a bxxloxg and you are the one providing the content, it's another when
we are the content providers. I try to get high in search for term Bxloxg" so then I every time I say that word I'm going to be competing
with myself? I don't think so.
I think its on delay so it doesnt come up right away. I found it in old post.
