Ideas for incentive program to help you make more money?

I am trying to put together a program which would be attractive to you and at the same time sell my book (paperback).

My book is called "Tournament Poker:101 Winning Moves" and so far it is getting 5 out of 5 stars from readers. But, it's tough competing against Hansen and Negreanu. Price is $19.95.

My thought was to pay you for each person who buys my book when they come from your site. As an added incentive to your visitor, I would offer them:
An autographed copy, free shipping (for US address) and no taxes.
For international order, I'd just add in $5 for shipping.

I was thinking of paying you $5.00 per sale. And, the visitor could not get this deal on the book without putting in a unique code for each affiliate site.

Is this something that would be of interest to you?
Is there something else that would work better?
Any experience in this area?

Can anyone offer suggestions to Mitchell on the best way to sell his poker books? He and I were talking about it via e-mail, but I don't know much about this so I suggested he post about it.

As I told Mitchel, I don't think affiliates would get excited over a $5 commission and suggested that he should increase the rpice of his book. The problem is that it sells on Amazon for $19...

If the book is worthy of it's title and offers true value to beginner tournament players then ask for testimonials from the reviewers, create a killer sales page, squeeze page, simple video and sell it online as a PDF for what it's worth..... perhaps $47

Offer affiliates 50% of the sale using ClickBank and PayDotCom

Then promote the crap out of it.

Prove it .... offer it for free to the 30 of so poker affiliates who get all the online poker traffic and who could promote it to the top and let them decide if it's worth promoting.

In order to sell it for $47, are you suggesting that he removes it from amazon completely? (because no one would pay $47 when they can get it for $20 now).

Thanks for your input; well, except for calling my book crap. I get a positive email from someone who has read my book and is doing better than ever. (My readers are winning more money than me--so maybe I need to read my own book!)

Seriously I think your suggestion is a good one. I will need to come up with additional products to raise the price since the book sells at only $19.99. Once I get a bigger product offering, I will develop a great sales page, squeeze page, etc. I will let you know when that happens.
