New poker platform will integrate customers and features from two leading poker rooms to create third largest online poker network

Apparently there won't be a "new room"...they merge will just be to form one network...the Cereus Poker Network.

The rooms will remain Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet for branding purposes.

I imagine the whole point is to "beef up" security and have players play together from each brand to increase players at one time on the network. Thereby increasing promotional ability.
