startupping.com sounds like what you are talking about, and thats what he chose.
i think there is something to be said for clever names. no offence but PokerAffiliateWorld and PokerAffiliatePrograms aren't the greatest domains for the purpose they serve. just like the best online poker site names aren't called OnlinePokerCardRoom.com they are Bodog or PokerStars, UltimateBet etc.
something like...just shooting from the hip....ShootingStar or preIPO or BusinessMinded or whatever, i think would be a lot better. something clever and short+easy to remember. let word of mouth and the content sell it imo

depends on the scope of your project and how big you really think it can get. if its a niche thing for poker or other affiliates and wouldn't become mainstream then i wouldn't worry about it. if it has a chance to be covered by/advertised in mainstream media channels etc then i think it would probably be a big mistake to hamstring yourself with this. branding is expensive. even if you are in the right, knowing you have a deep pocketed and litigious enemy out their waiting to pounce, i'd avoid it and find a clever name =)
fourhourworkweek.com is another one i just thought of.

If you go with BigIdea you might have to deal with Donnie Duetsch who has a show called The Big Idea on CNBC that is catered to entreprenuer's and self starters.

Maybe the context in which you use entrepreneur could help you still use it. Something like "RadioForEntrepreneurs.com" tells me that it's not for readers of Entrepreneur magazine but rather a general site for entrepreneurs.

Honestly, I don't think you'd get in trouble for using the word entrepreneur. Go to every university where they teach business, it's all over their books. And if you'd get in trouble somehow, then that would mean you've made it big enough to go to court and put an end to the nonsense!
Instead of entrepeneur, you could use "entrepreneurial", like entrepreneurial-thinking.com or something like that. That way you have the string "entrepreneur" in the URL and can target that keyword more efficiently. Or just be more generic like "Creative-Business-ideas.com", or use words like "tycoon" altough that has a different meaning. It's hard to give you ideas when I don't know what you're trying to do or who you're targetting. Personally, I would ignore that article, but that's just me.
p.s. I registered entrepreneurial-thinking.com and Creative-Business-ideas.com . You can buy it them from me for $200 each. See? I am an entrepreneur! lolololol!!!
Just kidding, I didn't buy anything.
Or, if you're targeting the younger crowd, try l337-3NTR3PR3N3RI4LZ-5KILLZ.COM

Jeremy, there is another option set up company X that owns EntrpreneurPR.fm domain name. Company Y leases the domain from company X . Company Y is the actual business and owns all the content. So if you ever get into a issue with the domain name, then go for it let anyone sue company X and all they will get is a domain name and a company that makes $25 bucks a month leasing domain names. Also who is to say you cant use an international corp to make things harder and detour any issues further.
Just one an option.
