Congratulations To Greg Powell

For those of you that didn't have a chance to listen to the radio show last night, Greg Powell made the announcement that he is stepping out of his role here at PAP. Greg has accepted the role as V.P. for a new online poker site that is being launched on the Cake Network in the next week or so.

As I said on the radio show, it sucks to see such a good business partner move on. However at the same time I realize for GP, it is an opportunity of a lifetime. Likewise I have spoken in depth with Greg about the new room, and I am excited to promote them myself.

From what I have heard and seen so far, this is going to be a great site for affiliates to promote. With Greg's background in the industry, and his understanding of what affiliates and players want, I am really looking forward to seeing what this new room will bring to the industry.

Good Luck Greg and thanks for the good times here at PAP! (although I'm sure you're still be around here in the community and at shows)

Wow, I ended up on a phone call about 30 minutes into the show last night. Congrats on the new job Greg, I appreciate all the advice you have given me over the last few months and I will honestly miss hearing you on the radio show and here on PAP.

The good news is that we are going to keep him on the show. Greg and I have been friends and working together on various stuff since 2003 or so. I can't blame him for taking this new role as it really is a dynamite opportunity.

With his new role of launching and overseeing every aspect of a poker site, I think it will bring great value to the radio show having input from an operators perspective.

P.S. GP, I am going to need a $350 CPA with 0 play through requirements. Thanks in advance for making this happen.
