Default CAP: Down Under - Nov.25-28

I havent seen much news on here about CAP Down Under - running from Nov.25-28 in Australia. The only information I have found is from the website (http://www.capdownunder.com/). Anybody else have any other information about it - speakers or anything?

Its coming up quick. Lets set up some meetings - feel free to PM me. We are going to be going a little earlier (Nov.23 - 30) to explore a little more.

Im sure it is going to be a blast.

If you havent been to a CAP/PAP event and live either in either:

1. Australia
2. New Zealand
3. Europe
4. North America and can stand long flights to beautiful places

Then this is a great way to meet your mates from online, do lots of networking, establish new business partners and drink shit loads of really good beer.

Plus like all CAP/PAP events ITS FREE FOR AFFILIATES!!!

PS there will be plenty of food on the Barbie to help you soak up more beer and its free too!

Getting visa sorted and booking my flight this week. For sure I am going to take my time getting there and leaving but should be a nice visit.

Yeah I'm just trying to work out how long I have to book a hotel room. I know ASAP would be good but is there any knowledge of the demand for rooms as yet?

Hey Nick,

Im not too sure about the hotel rooms (like you said, the sooner the better probably) but at least the conference is in your area - that makes it easy!

flights and visa are booked. Going to take care of hotel and conference registration in days. The flight is going to hurt but I arrive 2 weeks before it starts so I have time to adapt to being on the other side of the planet The hotel prices are looking nice when you convert USD to AUD. Now I just need to find better ways to kill the time on the plane: sleeping pills, beer, video games, movies, books, work ...

Hi All,

Just wanted to jump in here to see how many PDC / Carbon affiliates will be attending CAP Downunder. The PDCAffiliates.com team will be there as this is our home turf and we would love to see as many of you as possible.

If you can either post here or PM / email me that would be great.

Cheers,

Yes, I am not really looking forward to the flight. I think ours is about 24 hours total. Apparantly Quantas has '400+ entertainment options on demand in every seat' on selected planes. I wonder what 'entertainment options' reaaaally means? I know Aussie ladies are attractive..... jk

PSP is going to be my saviour I think. Need to load up on psp games and movies. I wish they had internet on all flights but the tubes add too much weight to most planes.

Sadly I will be missing the Australia event, but be warned, Qantas are actually famous for the LACK of quality of their women. There will be plenty of fun to be had once in Australia, just not from the air hostesses (unless Tower is sending you first class!)
