Should I give up on Paradise?

Two weeks ago I launched two very similar promotions - one for Noble Poker, one for Paradise Poker. I marketed both pretty well the exact same, and both had the same number of hits (within 30 or 40). My Noble promotion made me a couple grand in less than two weeks... Paradise, not a single cent! Not one penny! Now to be fair, the fact that Noble had a 100% bonus meant that a fairly higher percentage of players clicked my link over to Noble then my players did to Paradise. And once signed up, a 100% bonus is going to encourage more players to deposit! Taking this into account I was expecting to make about 2.5 or 3 times the amount at Noble compared to what I made at Paradise. But no - I guess I made infinitely more... which once again tells me that I have absolutely no luck sending players to Paradise I'm about ready to give up - I throw a single tiny link to Bet365 or some other random poker site 3/4 down a freerolls site and it brings me more money in a week then Paradise has in the past 4 months.

Anyways - I guess it is just me who has no luck with them since all of you still promote them, I'm assuming you all make decent coin from them. I'm just kind of upset - I've sent players there who have deposited $1000+... yet still not a single penny has been sent my way (this after them being active players for months).

I have had over 120 downloads at Paradise in the past 3 months and only 1 depositor. I am on CPA and I guess the player has to play a certain number of hands before I see coin.

So, I am in the same boat...not a cent!

What to do?

Making good money and signups for Absolute, Poker Room, Full Tilt, Party, Noble and starting to see some production from Poker.com. Yet I do a fair bit of Paradise promoting. I know some things take time, but I am ready to give up too!

Paradise is also my lowest performer, and I've tried both CPA and MGR. Additionally, I have seen the same thing in my stats - large player deposits but small commissions. We are probably sending them fish who are being gobbled up by the sharks. . .

Same here. I stay with Noble because their turnover is really good. I think the million dollar giveaway at Noble tricks players into playing while paradise's million dollar giveaway gives players a chance to see how impossible it really is to when.

I dont think Noble attracts too many players that stay so I'd go to the CPA plan for them.

My best sites are absolute, poker.com, bet365 (suprised!) and noble atm.

I also have never converted one customer with paradise. I moved on a while ago.

nothing personal, but when other sites pay me cpa on the 1st deposit with no raked hands ( and quite a bit higher than what ive been offered from underperfoming sites ) I will go where the money is.

The month that made me move the stats showed 80 downloads and zero registrations. go figure!

You are correct, a download will often be started but never finished or even installed.

Since I first became an affiliate I have always known Paradise was a low performer based on the number of people I saw click from my sites to Paradise yet never make me money! However, I never put too, too much thought into this because you never know the quality of players you are sending. If my website has 10 people get to it every day because they searched for "Party Poker Deposit Bonus Code" and 100 people get to it every day because they type "no deposit Paradise freeroll" I'd be dumb to look at my traffic and tell myself that Party is better than Paradise based simply on my players sent vs. money made ratio. But when I saw how much more another site (Noble in this case) made with me with essentially the exact same traffic (same volume, same value, same source, etc.) I began to question why I'm sending any players at all towards Paradise when I could be sending them any where else (hell, even a google ad page lol) and still be making more money. I hate to let go of any major poker affiliate program - especially one with a relatively high CPA / MGR%, a good affiliate manager, and that promotes good software... but I'm in this for money and do not like logging into an affiliate site to see a single 0 as opposed to a few zeros with a number to the left of them

Hi Guys

I have not been bagged for a few months here, which isn't too bad, but I still think it worthwhile to respond:

1. Paradise's traffic has grown extraordinarily over the last few months. We are now up to about 10-13k Players at peak times. It may not be the best converter for you all, but there are those doing it right.

2. In answer to your specific complaints:
a) ClarkePromotions
I am not sure what two-week promotion you are running, nor your conversion rates, but not all promotions have the same results for all sites. I woudl be pleased to discuss it with you directly.
B) Corpfan
I find your comments strange Corpfan, as we have had discussions, and I never realized your results were that great with the other sites either. As you are aware, I have been pleased to assist in any way possible, but these things take time.

I have no problem discussion each of your cases, and trying to see what each of you do for Paradise. I can assure you that our oconversion rates are excellent, and as I have run the same campaigns for several sites, I also know the net results when two sites are sunning in parallel. Paradise has come out on top each time, both in Player Value and #.
