Hi Everyone
I have seen several posts over the last few weeks in relation to "dropping non-performing rooms". I am not only talking about Paradise here, I am talking about all your existing relationships... As a result, I thought it prevalent to start a topic on this...
My suggestion is not to drop a room based on 4-5 Players, or their revenues. I have been promoting online casinos and poker for a long period, and there is very little difference in signing up 10 Players and 3 Players - the other 4-5 Players could come over a short period of time.
Same revenue-wise - there is luck involved in this - even though you may bring 1-2 Players to a room, you cannot judge revenues from 1-2 Players - you need more to decide if it is worthwhile or not. Most Players are not heavy revenue earners.
I know it is always easier when you see action, but be careful not to drop an existing relationship too quickly. Again, this is not a Paradise push in any way, as I have seen the same post about most rooms.
So, when should you drop a room?
If you decide that you no longer trust the room you are working with (or their Affiliate Manager), then move on... Alternatively, if you are earning a fortune from a specific room, push them harder - drain them for everything that they have!
I hope all this makes sense - I'd be pleased to assist any of you personally in this decision-making process.
Stephen
