Any news on the payment problems? Is there a date set that we can expect payment?

Sorry but that's weak.
Bump. I'd like to hear from you on this, Peter. Is it just back to business as usual or do you all plan on doing something to gain the trust and/or offer some sort of incentive to get us back on board? There's more than ONE room to promote on this network (in case you weren't aware), so the question remains:

Why should I turn your trackers/banners back on?

Why should any new affiliate that has followed this sign up for CS?

I'm sure my tone is coming across as harsh and honestly, I feel it's justified. I'd like to hear some sincerity from someone at CS and perhaps see some sliver of proof that this issue is behind us.

Cmon Peter. I'm looking to hear from you, I know you're reading this. Do you not feel compelled to offer any sort of explanation?

Hi, sorry for the delay. We have no intention of being dishonest or hiding from this issue. The truth is that the entire marketing of this room has been mismanaged and the group of people behind this company are in the same shock and disgust as many of you are here over what has happened. Nevertheless, I can assure you that everyone is commited to resolving this and getting the affiliate program fully on track with proper management, payments, and reporting.

Now, you bring up some valid points. Allow me to address each one individually:

1) Is it just back to business as usual or do you all plan on doing something to gain the trust and/or offer some sort of incentive to get us back on board?

No, it's not back to business as usual yet. It will be back to business once we've cleaned up the commission group issue in the affiliate back-end (which, in turn, will offer you accurate reporting) and once everyone has been paid. I won't offer any excuses but I am working with our team to create solutions, they will just take some more time to implement on both of these topics.

2) Why should I turn your trackers/banners back on?

You shouldn't, yet. We have some work to do...but eventually this will become a world class affiliate program with a unique product to promote. At that time I'll be able to give you an answer.

3) Why should any new affiliate that has followed this sign up for CS?

See #2. We are not approving new affiliate applications until we can service them properly. I think we will have some cool stuff to offer in the future, but right now we're focused on honouring our end of the bargain.

I hope this helps clear the air, and if not, please feel free to PM me.

-P

Im posting only because I think that was an unfair comment and a pretty bad one to. Your all in shock that CardSpike has failed to the point it has. I dont care what company it is. Management doesnt just overlook the progress of its program for over 8 weeks and not see whats happening. To lay the blame on on one individual is not only wrong but completely and totally tacky, (assuming its one individual based on comments from this post and previous ones)

Thats like an AM saying you know what...you really shouldnt promote the other skins because or bad mouthing another program

Dont tell us that you guys didnt know that things were happening. Its pretty obvious by the posts made on this forum for over two months.

The problem right now is people have to pull their heads out their asses and try and keep the program from being a complete flop, which at this point is going to be very difficult to, not just for affiliates but players. Do you realize that there are still posts on regular forums from players saying that they arent getting bonuses, that payments are slow.

For the tracking and whatnot wouldnt that be part of the accounting department, isnt there someone that double checks this information besides the person running the program. Doesnt the person who oversees the AM's check on the progress of how a program is doing. Even if the tracking is screwed up...why was noone paid for Sept earnings on time, Oct earnings on time and now we are going into Nov earnings.

...shock and disgust...get real, I highly doubt CardSpike was a one man show...so the blame in this lyes in everyone, including the person who was responsible for the program above the AM.

As of right now it is completely ridiculous to even think of continuing to promote CardSpike.
Hopefully they get on track in the future, but who is going to want to promote CardSpike then?
