I basicly like where youre going with this, must be a ton of good stories from the past to tell as well

I'v though about doing pretty much this exact thing, and I think there are potential for traffic, especially if you get a bunch of content while some drama is going on.

One thing that made me a bit uncomfortable about the whole idea was that a site dedicated to negative publicity may impact other peoples perception of me and my business. If you get a good site running, you will most likely end up having a whole lot of people dislike you..

I know stuff like this probably attracts links and attention, but I've always shied away from doing negative stuff like this. I guess I was raised that if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. And then you do have to deal with a lot of people being pissed off at you, which is always a bummer too.

I can see getting a lot of traffic from teens, but will this actually convert players? I seriously doubt it.. If people want to read hateful stupid stuff, they can go to NWP..

I guess its about offering an opinion to your readers, or facts?
Both apply i guess but in this world the facts move so fast online its tough to compete on those alone.
What we gotta love about the pokerworld is that its such a funny mix of both clever and stupid people, all here to make a $ or a living.
Id love and read a semibig website telling all the dirt if it had like weekly new relevant content...
Conversions is another thing, dont think it would be the object of such a site anyways, hence theres other ways to make money.

Yeah I saw that, that where the idea came from. I think a poker player
protected websites and companies from lawsuits for articles like this.
The Poker players name = Larry Flynt.

I will take advice and post a disclaimer on the site saying it is a parody and joke thus protecting me.

Mainstream American media makes tons of money by being negative and borderline biased (one way or the other) all the time...It's just a question of whether or not you can highlight negativity without being unethical or biased. If you can, then you're just being negative, not a bad person. That being said, a lot of times industries are improved because someone speaks up about the crap going on.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd read it if you created it.
